We work to keep our dish library accurate, but Chinese cuisine varies enormously by region, restaurant, and kitchen. Ingredient lists, spice levels, preparation methods, and even the meaning of a dish name can differ from what you're served. Our entries describe what is typical, not what a specific restaurant will serve.
We make no warranty that any information on the site is complete, current, or error-free.
3. Allergen and health disclaimer
Do not rely on China Decoded for allergen safety. Our allergen flags are a general guide only. Menus change, kitchens cross-contaminate, and recipes vary. Always confirm ingredients directly with restaurant staff before eating, especially if you have a serious allergy.
Allergen information, dietary flags, and spice-level ratings are provided for general orientation. They are not verified per restaurant and must not be treated as medical or safety advice. If you have a food allergy or a medical condition, consult a qualified professional and confirm every ingredient with the restaurant.
4. User submissions
If you submit a menu photo, correction, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you grant us permission to use it to improve the service. We may review, edit, or discard submissions. Don't submit anything personal, confidential, or unlawful.
5. Third-party services and advertising
The site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense, and uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These services may use cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to.
6. Limitation of liability
